As a senior, maintaining independence through driving is extremely important to a lot of people. It helps one to remain connected to our communities, our friends and our families.

Sometimes due to life events we find that our reasons for driving changes. Perhaps the loss of a beloved partner or an increase in carer duties means an increased responsibility in driving by suddenly becoming the main driver after a long period in the passenger seat. Perhaps having moved into a new environment and feeling less confident in navigating around new areas. Perhaps you just enjoy driving and want to maintain your independence for as long as you can.

Our driving environment is in constant flux with new developments popping up everywhere, road works, detours, faster and more cars on the road.  All of this can at times feel quite overwhelming.
